PEEPs for Professionals

PEEPs for Professionals enables employers to meet the requirement of Article 21 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 for evacuation planning for vulnerable and disabled people.

The TripleAconsult two-day, instructor-led PEEPs for Professionals course was accredited in 2007 by the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) and the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). Over the past eleven years, the course has been delivered to public sector, private and commercial organisations with a satisfaction rate of 98%.

TripleAconsult is currently taking the initiative by converting the training course into six hours of gold-standard e-learning (anytime, anyplace).  In advance of the full course being rolled out from January 2021, TripleAconsult is running a pilot in late September/October to obtain feedback from diverse industry sectors.

If you are interested in being involved in the pilot, please email Elspeth Grant: grante@tripleaconsult.co.uk

Subject matter of the eLearning course covers legislation, guidance, the impact of impairment on evacuation, how to adjust the physical environment, how to develop a PEEP and strategic planning. Delegates on the course can collaborate and access appropriate guidance and standards which will enable them gain more knowledge.
